effin'river

This evening I had no luck whatsoever. QQ in hand, flop comes ATQ, guy goes all-in, I call, he hits his J on the river, holding AK. The same thing pretty much happened in the three tourneys I played this evening.

Worst with AA, I raise decently from late position, get one caller. Flop comes 73K. I raise 2/3rd pot, get called. Turn is 9. Guy bets 150, I reraise, he calls. This goes on till forever, until I am all-in and he shows 99.

Sucks to be me.

Lightning edit: Just won the first hand of an $8 Q with AAA, doubling up on a 99. I lose the same tourney in 4th place (1st to 3rd gets a seat, obv) with A6 on an A6T flop... to... AA.
